Leonard Armijo was stopped for traffic violation and it was discovered that his license was revoked for a prior DWI.  He was booked into SF CO. Jail without incident.

Arrested: David Crawford, Age: 28, Address: 4000 La Carerra Apt. #1024

Charges: Aggravated Battery Against A House Hold Member

On 07-09-10 it was reported that someone had heard an altercation at an apartment at the above location. Upon Deputies arrival it was discovered that the suspect had beat up the victim. the suspect was placed under arrest and booked on the above charge.

Sometime between 01:00 AM and 06:30 AM On 07-09-10  the victim's AtV started on fire. It is unknown at this time if it was arson or if it was an electical fire.

Sometime between 07-08-10 6:00 PM and 07-09-10 09:00 AM some one gained entry to the property of Ranchos De Las Golondrinas and damaged some property. Entry was gained in to a couple of buildings but nothing was taken.

Charges: Aggravated D.W.I., Careless Driving, Possession of a Controlled Substance to wit: Marijuana

On 07-08-10 the above individual was stopped for fcareless driving. During the course of contact the driver displayed signs of impairment. The defendant submitted to the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. The defendant was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Act. The defendant refused to chemical testing. The defendant was then transported to the Santa Fe County Jail and booked accordingly. During an inventory of the vehicle a green leafy substance was located and was found to be marijuana.

On 07-08-10 the above individual was stopped for failing to maintain his lane of travel. During the course of contact the driver displayed signs of impairment. The defendant submitted to the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. The defendant was then placed under arrest and transported to St. Vincent's Hospital for a blood draw. The defendant was then transported to the Santa Fe County Jail and booked accordingly.

The above listed suspect was arrested for the above listed charges after assaulting the victim/house hold member in the presence of Deputies. Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

0210005592/ Check Fraud/ 07-07-2010

Suspect: Pending

 

Victim reported that she received ta call from her bank to inform her that a male had attempted to cash a personal check from her account in the amount of $2,300.  She was also infomed that a personal check from her account had been cashed the day prior in the amount of $700.00.  Both checks had a signature stamp of the victims name.  Victim suspects that an ex-employee that she intrusted with her signature stamp in January of 2008 may be to blame for this incident.  No further information is available at this time.

Case#: 0210005595/Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 07/07/10

Deputy assigned:  Sgt. Linda Ortiz

Location:  200 block of Nine Mile Road, Santa Fe, NM (Arroyo Hondo)

On 7/7/10 between 0930 and 1200 hours unknown persons broke into the victim's residence.  Victim stated that she locked her front door and screen door.  Unknown persons pried open the screen door with an unknown type of tool and also pried and kicked in the front door.  Once inside unknown persons took a 40" flatscreen TV, 2 laptop computers, a camera, a tape recorder, and a bedspread.  Unknown persons rummaged through the residence.  Estimated value of items taken is $4885.00.  Estimated damage amount is $500.00.
