Deputies responded to a Domestic Dispute and discovered Shawn Meek had battered a household member by pushing the victim to the ground causing minor injury. He was booked into SF Co. Jail without incident.

Victim reported that sometime 4:00 PM and 7:00 Pm on 06-30-10 some one gained entry to her livery stable at the above location and stole four saddles and two bridles valued at $5,000.00. Entry was gained by cutting the locks on the doors.

Suspect: Charles Canada, 64, El Paso, TX
Charged: DWI, Speeding
On 7-3-2010 at 12:06 AM the suapect was operating the vehicle north at the location at 59 miles per hour in a posted 45 mile per hour zone. The suspect is suspected to be under the influence of cannibis and a central nervous system stimulant. Toxicology results are pending.

The above suspect came into contact with deputies after they responded to a possible narcotics violation. The suspect became unruly and began to shout at his neighbor’s obscenities. The suspect also began to yell threatening statements at neighbors. The suspect was arrested on the above charge.

The above suspect came into contact with deputies at an accident scene. The suspect in plain view attempted to hide a baggie containing possible cocaine. The suspect was arrested on the above charge.

On this date at approximately 11:30 AM Cpl. William Pacheco called out that he was attempting to stop a suspicious vehicle on state Rd. 599 just past the Tano Rd. Exit. The vehicle then eluded him and was abandoned on Camino Milagro and the suspects fled on foot. At about the same time an activated alarm came in at the above location . Items that were located in the vehicle were items taken from that residence. The suspects were not located and the case is under investigation. The only description obtained on the suspects was that they were two hispanic males.

Charges: Driving While License is Suspended or Revoked, Equipment Violation
On 07-02-10 a traffic stop was conducted on a gold in color GMC Pickup, after the vehicle was observed traveling northbound on Siler without a headlight. During the stop it was learned that the driver's license was revoked with the arrest clause. The driver was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly

Charges: Agg. D.W.I., Open Container, No Driver License
On 07-01-10 the above individual was found passed out in a Toyota 4Runner at the Casitas de Santa Fe Mobile Home Park. Upon making contact the driver displayed signs of intoxication. The driver stated he could not perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Test. The driver was placed under arrest and read the NM Implied Consent Act. The drive submitted to chemical testing with a result of .22/.22 BrAC. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Stolen: Two shotguns, a rifle, and a chainsaw valued at $2,260.
On the above date victim reported that unknown person entered his home through the upstairs attic. Victim reported the above items were taken. There are no suspects at this time.
