Location:  1200 block of Calle Inez, Santa Fe, NM (Rancho Zia MHP)

On 6/28/10 victim stated sometime between the hours of 1200 yesterday and 1400 hours today an unknown person burglarized his 1997 Ford Ranger pickup.  Victim stated his vehicle was unlocked and unknown person(s) took a cordless drill and a 100 ft. extension cord.  Estimated value of items taken is $70.00.

Case#: 0210005303/ Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle/ Date: 06/28/10

Deputy assigned:  Deputy Ken Chavez

Location:  residence off of Camino De Los Roybals, Santa Fe, NM (El Rancho) 

Suspect:  possibly 17 year old male

On 6/28/10 victim advised that his 2005 Honda 230CRF Motorcycle was stolen by a friend of his.  Victim stated that the suspect took the motorcycle approximately 2 weeks ago.  several attempts were made to contact the son who has the information on the suspect.  Estimated value of the motorcycle is pending.

Location: Camino La Tierra / Rawhide - Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: William Garcia - age 23, Santa Fe, NM

The above driver was involved in a motor vehicle crash involving injuries to himself and others. He exhibited signs of intoxication and was charged with Agg DWI. Due to his injuries, the driver was admitted into St. Vincent's Hospital for treatment.

0210005260 / Aggravated Burglary / 6-26-10

Deputy assigned: Deputy Gerald Lovato

Commander entering: Cpl Daniel Chavez

Location: Rufina Apartments - Santa Fe, NM

Deputies responded to the above location regarding three persons forcing their way into the victim's apartment. The suspects kicked in the door and were armed with a knife and a baton. The entry was reportedly motivated by friction and jealousy between a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. The suspects fled the area prior to law enforcement arrival. There were no injuries resulting from the entry and the investigation is still ongoing. The suspects reportedly also stole a China doll from the residence.

Suspect:  Denise Sanchez, 30, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI, License to be Carried and Exhibited Upon Demand, Mandatory

                   Financial Responsibility

On 6-26-2010 at 9:18 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle at the location and was involved in a motor vehicle crash where she backed into a parked vehicle.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.  The suspect was unable to produce her driver's license or her proof of insurance.

Location: Airport Road/Old Airport Road - Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Orlando Lujan - age 63, Santa Fe, NM

The above driver was stopped for weaving within his lane. He showed signs of impairment and admitted to drinking three beers prior to driving. He was arrested and he submitted to a breath test. The results were .08 and .08. He was booked into ADC accordingly.

Arrested: Luis Sandoval - age 46, Santa Fe, NM

The above driver was stopped for failing to stop at a stop light. The driver provided a false identity when asked for his name and date of birth. The driver was arrested and booked into ADC accordingly.

Charged:  DWI, Roadways Laned for Traffic

On 6-27-2010 at 12:25 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.

Suspect:  Luis Sandoval, 21, Ssanta Fe, NM

Charged:  Concealing Identity, Failure to Obey Signal, Driver Must be Licensed

On 6-25-2010 at 9:50 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle at the location.  The suspect failed to stop for a red traffic control signal.  The defendant concealed his identity.  A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed no driver's license on file for the suspect.

0210005246, Battery against Household member, 6/25/10

Deputy Assigned: S. Coles

Commander Entering: Sgt. M. Post

Location: Cerro Circle    Lamy

Suspect:  Richard Cordova Jr.  Age: 29  Lamy NM

Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance and learned that Richard Cordova Jr. had batered a household member causing minor injury.  He fled the scene and was apprehended on I-25 milepost 289 near Eldorado.  Cordova was booked without further incident.
