On 01-29-2010 the victim reported that someon had stolen numerous rings from her residence. The victim reported that the rings were hidden in a bathroom. The victim believes the rings were taken about 3 weeks ago. The victim had a contractor in the residence during the time the rings were taken. This incident is still under investigation.

On 01-29-10 between 0730-hours and 1600-hours, someone gained entry into the victims residence by forcing open the front door. Once inside the residence the suspect(s) removed the above item. Suspect information is pendind at this time.

Charges: D.W.I., Driving on roadways laned for traffic, and Open Container
On 01-29-2010 the above person was observed drivign a maroon Hyundai Santa Fe, on Airport Road. The vehicle was observed failing to maintain it's lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle. During the course of contact with the above person, he displayed signs of impairment. He was placed under arrest for D.W.I. Upon taking inventory of the vehicle an open can of Miller Light was located. The subject was taken to the Santa County Adult Detention Center and booked accordingly.

Location: Platte Road No foul Play Victim: Nellie Montoya 95yrs old
Above listed female was sitting on the couch eating dinner. Reporting party advises that victim leaned back on the couch and appeared to yawn. RP states she checked on her mother and found that she was not breathing. RP called 911 and commenced CPR. Paramedics arrived and were told that the victim had a "Do Not Resuscitate" Order. CPR was discontinued. OMISharon Terena arrived on scene and pronounced the victim at 1806 hours. Victim suffered from High Blood Pressure, a heart condition, and Arthritis.

Victim reported that his vehicle was burglarized while he was at the ski basin. Taken from the vehicle was a purse and it’s contents. It does not appear to be any forced entry to the vehicle.

On 1/30/10 Deputy observed a green in color Mitsubishi on the side of the roadway with a broken driver's side window and a missing stereo. Deputy stated that the dashboard was damaged. Deputy attempted to contact victim but was unsuccessful. Estimated damage amount is pending. Unknown if anything else was taken. Vehicle was impounded by Flores towing.

Victim: 82 year old male
On 1/30/10 victim collasped on the floor this morning. Prior to deputies arriving, Santa Fe County Med unit 50 was on scene attempting to resuscitate. Victim had a lengthy history of medical problems. OMI determined that there was no foul play. Victim collapsed while with his girlfriend.

Deputies responded to the above location regarding a domestic altercation. Investigation showed probable cause that both individuals battered each other. Both were placed under arrest and booked into ADC.

Victim reported that on January 28, 2010 between 5:55pm and 6:15pm an unknown person used an unknown object to break the driver side window on her vehicle and take above items. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff's Office.
