Victim reported that sometime between 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. today (1-14-2010) an unknown person(s) entered into her 1994 Ford Explorer as it was parked unsecured in the driveway and stole the stereo valued at approx. $100.00.  No suspect or witness information is available at this time.

0210000363 Residential Burglary 01-13-2010

Deputy Assigned: Ted Padilla

Commander: Lt. Marco Lucero

Location: Cottonwood MHP, SFNM

On the above date, the above named officer responded to the above location regarding a burglary investigation.  Upon arrival,victim advised that he had left his residence unsecured by leaving the rear door unlocked.  Upon returning home he discovered that suspect(s) unknown stole a wedding band, a 32 inch plasma TV and $500.00 in united states currency.  The total estimated loss was $1,450.00.  For further information, refer to officer's report.

Case#: 0210000357/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 01/13/10

Deputy assigned:  Deputy Solomon Romero

Location:  7600 block of Cree Circle, Santa Fe, NM (Vista Primera Subdivision)

On 1/13/10 victim reported that between 1200 and 1645 hours unknown suspects kicked in a rear garage door and also an inner garage door to make entry into the residence.  Once inside unknown suspects removed several misc. tools, a Wii game system, a Playstation 2, and an electric guitar.   Estimated amount of items taken is pending.  Estimated damage amount for both doors is $400.00.

 Sometime between 09:30 AM 01-12-10 and 10:00 AM 01-13-10 someone forced entry to the victim's residence and stole a flat screen TV.

0210000333 Aggravated Assault on a Household Member/Battery on a Household Member 01-12-10

Deputy Assigned: Doug Wood

Commander: Lt. Marco Lucero

Location: Sueno Vigil, La Puebla, NM

Arrested: Jacob Romero 24yoa

On the above date, the above named officer responded to the area of the above location regarding the above investigation.  Upon arrival, the victim stated that about 10:00pm the defendant (her ex-boyfriend) and she were at his residence when he began to accuse her of seeing other men.  A verbal argument quickly escalated when the defendant pushed the victim into a wall causing injury to her head and face.  The victim then sprayed pepper/mace into the defendant's face in self defense.  The defendant then grabbed two kitchen knives and attempted to cut the victim who was able to flee.  Officer later made contact with the defendant where he was placed under arrest and transported tho the adult detention center.  For further information, refer to officer's report.

Case#: 0210000332/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 1/12/10

Location:  17377 US 84/285, Santa Fe, NM (JR Clothing)

Suspect:  Luke Manzanares, age 32, Espanola, NM

Charged:  Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property

On 1/12/10 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to an activated alarm.  Upon arrival deputies located a broken front south facing door broken.  Estimated damage amount is $300.00.  Victim did not know if anything was taken.  Upon further investigation, it was learned that same suspect broke into a business in the Pojoaque area which is handled by Pojoaque Tribal Police.  Vehicle information was obtained and suspect was located at a residence in the Espanola area.  It was learned that suspect did steal 3 pair of boots at above location.  Estimated value of items taken is $500.00.  Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Case#: 0210000326/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 01/12/10

Location:  residence off of Leaping Powder Road, Santa Fe, NM (Hondo area)

On 1/12/10  victim stated that unknown persons broke into victim's vehicle while it was parked at his residence and removed several power tools which were inside.  Victim stated that this occurred between 1/11/10 at 1730 hours and 1/12/10 at 1630 hours. Victim stated that unknown suspects cut a lock off of the vehicle which he stored the tool.  Estimated value of items taken is $4,900.00.

Case#: 0210000322, Attempted Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 01/12/10

Location:  residence of of Camino Peralta, Santa Fe, NM

On 01/12/10 victim stated that unknown persons attempted to gain entry through a side door of his residence between the hours of 0800 and 1600.  Unknown suspects attempted to gain entry by kicking the door.  Estimated damage amount is $180.00.

 On 01-12-10 the victim reported that his bank had contacted him stating that his account was overdrawn. Upon further investigation it was discovered that his stepson's friend had stole a blanck check from his check book, forged the victim's name, and cashed it for the amount of six hundered dollars.
