2021004257,Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle,5-15-2021

Stolen: White 2016 Toyota 4Runner

Suspect: Pending

Victim reported her vehicle being stolen at the above location sometime between the evening of May 15, 2021 and the afternoon of May 16, 2021. Case is under investigation.

2021004262,Reckless driving/accident involving damage/ criminal damage to property/5-18-2021

Arrested: Maury Mauzy

Additional charges: Resisting and evading/ no insurance/ vehicle to be registered

Deputies responded to NM 14 in reference to a single vehicle rollover and the suspect vehicle fled the scene.  During the investigation, the suspect was located south of the crash on private property.  The suspect fled from the Deputy on the property and rammed a gate before coming to a stop.  Suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.

Deceased 80 year old male Edgewood NM

 

Deputies were dispatched to a unconscious male. Life saving measures were attempted by the reporting person but they were not successful. There were no indications of criminal activity surrounding the death.

2021004240 / Driving while license revoked, Speeding / 05-17-21

Arrested: Isaac Cruz, 32-year-old male from Mendenales N.M.

On 5-17-21 a traffic stop was conducted on Mr. Cruz's vehicle after he was observed on radar driving 92mph in a 55mph zone.  It was discovered his driver's license was revoked.  He was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Suspect: Tonya Rasmusson 27 Santa Fe NM

 On May 17, 2021, at about 1920 hours, Deputy Ficke stopped listed vehicle for traffic violations, during the investigation Mr. Chavez, and Ms. Rasmusson were found to be in possession of heroin and meth. They were booked.

On Sunday, May 16th, 2021 at about 7:50 pm, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a not conscious and not breathing female. Upon arrival, no signs of life were observed in the female. OMI was summoned to the scene. Deputies and OMI did not observe anything suspicious about the death and no signs of foul play were observed.

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a burglary. Once on scene it was learned that an unknown suspect gained entry into a residence and stole tools, horse tac and art work. Case is under investigation.

Suspect: Maury Mauzy/62M/Albuquerque/NM

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a breaking and entering. Once on scene contact was made with the suspect and it was learned that he broke into the residence and was attempting to live at the location.

Deputies were dispatched to location for a reckless driver. Upon contact with the driver, signs of impairment were observed. She was arrested and booked accordingly.

Arrested: Danielle Zamora, 27 y/o female Santa Fe N.M.

Deputies were dispatched to location for a motor vehicle accident. Upon contact with the driver, signs of impairment were observed. She was arrested and booked accordingly.
