Subject was located in a vehicle at the Casino Parking lot by tribal police. The subject was found to be using narcotics. Further investigation revealed the subject was in possession of a stolen handgun. He was arrested without incident.

Deputies were dispatched to location reference a welfare check. Upon arriving, a deceased male was found at the location. The medical investigator arrived on scene and no foul play was determined.

On 11/23/2019 Deputy responded to the above location in regards to missing person. Reporting party advised she has not seen her adult son Joseph Lievens (31 years of age) who in four days and is worried about his well-being. The missing person was entered into the National Crime Information Center.

Arrested: Joshua Duran  31 yoa, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle was stopped for driving without its headlights on by Pojoaque Tribal Police. Driver was non-native and Officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his person. SFSO deputies arrived on scene and conducted a DWI investigation. Driver admitted to drinking prior to driving, but refused to perform SFST’s. Driver was read the NM implied consent and refused chemical testing. In addition, subject did not have insurance and registration. He was arrested and booked accordingly.
