Victim reported unknown suspects gained unlawful entry into a desk by damaging the combination lock and stole the above mentioned items for an art studio. Value of total amount stolen property is approximately $1100.00. Case is under investigation.

Suspect: Karina Trujillo – 32 - Espanola, NM
Charges: Child Abuse – Assault against a Household Member – False Imprisonment – Criminal Damage to property
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in regards to a domestic disturbance. Victim stated the suspect arrived drunk and began complaining that her boyfriend had left her. Victim stated the suspect began throwing things around and yelling offensive statements. Victim stated as they tried to leave suspect attacked her son holding him down and slapping him on the face numerous times. Victim stated as they all got into the vehicle the suspect began throwing rocks at the vehicle which in conclusion received a small dent on the left side of the rear bumper. After the victims left the residence to contact law enforcement the suspect “trashed” the house, destroying items in every room.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

Arrested: Ashley N. Murphy age: 32
Charge: Guadalupe County Magistrate Court Warrant
On 04/28/18 the above individual was stopped for a traffic violation. Upon checking her driving history, an active warrant for her arrest was located. Driver was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center accordingly.

Person Arrested: Christopher Gipson 25 year old male subject
On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash in the Santa Cruz area in reference to a single motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, it was discovered the above mentioned male subject had an active warrant for his arrest out of Rio Arriba Magistrate Court. The male subject was taken into custody. In addition, the male subject was found to be in possession of narcotics during the course of his arrest. The male was transported to the adult detention center where he was charged and booked without incident.

Charges: Residential Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property
On Friday, April 27th, 2018 at approximately 5:20pm, deputy responded to location in reference to a residential burglary. An unidentified suspect(s) forced entry into the residence causing damage to a window and removed jewelry and cash from the residence. Investigation is ongoing.

Suspect: Santiago Mascarenas, 36, Santa Fe, NM
Charges: Driving While License Revoked, Speeding
On Friday, April 27th, 2018 at approximately 3:30pm, the above vehicle was observed speeding. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, the suspect. After suspect was run through N.C.I.C. he returned with a revoked driver's license with the 66-8-122G arrest clause attached. Suspect possessed an interlock license, but did not have an interlock installed in the vehicle. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Vehicle was seized under the Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5 amended 2013-5.

Suspect: Jeremy Licon
Deputy Maycumber was dispatched to ADC in reference to an inmate found in possession of narcotics. Upon arrival it was determined the listed suspect was found in possession of heroin. Suspect was booked accordingly.

Suspect: Dominick Cadena, 22, Santa Fe, NM
On Thursday, April 26, 2018 at approximately 2:51pm, deputy responded to location in reference to an inmate hitting one of the officers. Suspect did batter the victim. Suspect was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. No one received any thief-threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

Victim: Female, 54, Espanola, NM
Suspect: Joshua Romero, 21, Espanola, NM
Charges: Battery Against a Household Member, Service of Documents
On Thursday, April 26, 2018, at approximately 2:25pm, deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. Suspect and victim, who are household members, were involved in a verbal argument. During the argument the suspect battered the victim. Suspect also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The warrant was outstanding for the charge of Battery Against a Household Member. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. No one received any life-threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

Suspect: David Griego
Deputies were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a male slumped over at the wheel. Upon arrival contact was made with the suspect who was semi-conscious. Suspect smelled of an alcoholic beverage, could barely stand and refused SFST's as well as chemical testing. Suspect was arrested for the listed charges and the vehicle was seized per Santa Fe County Ordinance.
