Victim stated a check was stolen out of the mail, was washed and cashed at several locations without their consent.  Case is under investigation.

Person Arrested: Eziquiel Montano 22 year old male subject

 

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to a welfare check at the area of I-25, mile post 271.  Upon making contact with the above mentioned male subject, it was discovered that he had an active warrant for his arrest.  The warrant was out of New Mexico State Police for failure to pay fines.  The subject was taken into custody and transported to the adult detention facility without incident.

Victim reported that a set of 4 rims and tires where taken from his property.  They were described as stock aluminum Jeep Rubicon rims and tires. This incident is under investigation.

Location: Santa Fe County ADC

Suspect was found with Suboxone during a search.  He admitted to bringing in the Suboxone for other inmates.  He was charged and rebooked accordingly.

Suspect: Angelina Montoya

While conducting an investigation into another matter the suspect returned to her residence driving a 2006 Dodge Caliber.  A Driver's License check was conducted and the suspect was found to have a revoked driver's license.  Suspect was arrested and the vehicle seized per County Ordinance.

Location: Agua Fria

Victim stated she received a call from a male claiming to be a bill collector from PNM. The male told her she was past due on her electric bill and had to pay $770. She paid the past due amount and contacted PNM to confirm the payment was received.  That's when PNM advised she had been scammed. This investigation is on going.

Suspect checked into EM at the SFCADC and was served with a Bench Warrant for Failure to Comply with EM. Suspect was booked into ADC.

Deputies responded to the above location I  reference to Pojoaque PD stopped a vehicle that was swerving. Suspect showed signs of impairment and was booked on DWI. Suspects vehicle was seized due to prior DWI's.
