2022004702/ Battery on a household member, criminal damage to property of a household member/ 8/12/22

Location: Camino Bajo

Victim reported a verbal altercation occurred between he and his son. The argument became physical, when his son throw him out of his wheelchair and drug him in the kitchen. Suspect then started throwing and breaking various objects in the kitchen. The suspect then started hitting the victim’s prostatic leg on the floor breaking part of it.

Suspect was arrest and booked, suspect was also on supervised probation and was additionally booked for a probation violation.

Case# 2022004714 Unattended Death 08-13-22

Deceased: 62 yoa female 

Subject was found to be deceased at their residence. Subject had several ongoing health issues prior to her death. No signs of foul play were located. Next of kin was notified. 

Case:2022004719 Possession of a controlled substance 08-14-22

Location: Paseo Corazon (Santa Fe)

Arrested: Christian Romero 45 yoa female (Santa Fe)

Subject was located at a suspicious persons call. She was found to have an active warrant for her arrest out of the Santa Fe Magistrate Court. She was arrested and during a search incident to her arrest, she was found to be in possession of heroin and methamphetamine. She was booked into SFADC without further incident. 

Case #2022004708 AGG DWI/ RECKLESS 08-13-22

Location MIle post 273 Interstate 25 (La CIenega)

Arrested: Hector Chavez-Chavez 67 yoa male (Santa Fe)

Subject was observed driving down the wrong way of Interstate 25 as Deputies and Fire Personnel were responding to an unrelated crash. The wrong way vehicle was located by SFSO Deputies and a traffic stop was conducted. The driver had a slow response and pulled over after about a mile of driving the wrong direction. Contact was made with the driver who was highly intoxicated. He showed multiple signs of impairment and was arrested without incident.

SUSPECT: "JOHNATHAN" UNKNOWN LAST NAME

CHARGES: FRAUD

On 8-11-2022, Deputy V. Baca responded to a resident in Santa Fe County reference to a scam report. The victim indicated she received an on-line communication about her on-line money transfer app. The sender of this email ended up scamming the victim out of a very large sum of cash. This case is under investigation.

Suspect: Shannon and Daniel Dornbrach 

Between March 15, 2021 and June 7, 2022 several items were stolen, and unaccounted purchases were made by an employee. The items were described as two steel passenger car train doors a generator and hand tools. 

2022004676/Distribution of a Controlled Substance/08-11-2022

Location: 28 Camino Justicia, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Ronnie Montano, 45 YOM

On Thursday, August 11, 2022 deputies responded to the above location in reference to detention officers finding narcotics on an inmate. Based on the investigation, Suboxone was located on the above person. The amount of Suboxone was deemed to not be for personal consumption. He was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
