Case # 2022004572 Agg. DWI 08-06-22

Location: Mile Post 31 NM 14 (Cerrillos) 

Arrested: Delvin Lara (Socorro) 

Subject was located parked in the roadway. Deputy made contact with the subject who was heavily intoxicated. Subject submitted to field sobriety tests and signs of impairment were observed. He was arrested and submitted to a breath test which revealed a .24,.24 BrAC. He was also found to be operating a vehicle on a revoked license due to prior DWI. He was booked into SFADC. 

2022004567/ Aggravated DWI/ 8/6/22

Arrested/ Suspect: O. Chavez Age 28

Location: Old Las Vegas HWY/ Ute CR

Dispatched to a single motor vehicle crash, Driver admitted to drinking while golfing earlier in the day. Driver completed SFST's and signs of impairment were observed. Driver arrested and agreed to a breath test, results were twice over the legal limit. Witnesses observed vehicle swerving into oncoming traffic and strike cable guardrail. He was booked into ADC without incident.

2022004566/ Aggravated D.W.I/ 8/6/22

Arrested/ Suspect: F. Insurriasa Age 32

Location: Cities of Gold Road

On the listed date Deputies responded to a reckless driver, RECC advised the reporting party noticed the driver nearly hit another vehicle and unable to maintain lanes. The reporting party stated the vehicle drove into the Sinclair Dino-mart gas station parking lot. The vehicle was located by Pojoaque PD with the driver slouched over the center console. The driver showed signs of intoxication and an open container was located inside the vehicle. The driver refused SFST’S and chemical testing; he was arrested and charged accordingly.

2022004568/ DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED/ 8/6/22

Arrested/ Suspect: A. Lopez Age 23

Location: 175 US 84/285

Deputies were dispatched to the area in reference to a vehicle crash. Upon arrival, the subsequent investigation determined the driver had been operating his vehicle with a revoked drivers license. Driver was placed under arrest and booked into ADC without incident.

2022004562/Possession of a controlled substance/ 8/5/22

Location: 18 W Nambe

Suspect: Jason Vallejo

On the above date deputies were dispatched to an unknown male on someone's property. The suspect had a warrant and upon search incident to arrest had a controlled substance on his person. The suspect was arrested without incident.

Suspect: Cesar Garcia -Garcia

Pojoaque PD stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The suspect pulled in front of the on going traffic stop. A Welfare check was conducted on the suspect and the suspect was found to be impaired admitting to drinking. The suspect was arrested and refused chemical testing.

 

2022004560/Aggravated Battery against a Household Member/08-05-2022

Location: 100 Block of A Van Nu Po, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Jonathan Judkins (28 YOM)

On Friday, August 5th, 2022 deputies responded to the above location for a report of a physical domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, it was found that the suspect had battered a household member. He was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. There, he was booked without incident.

2022004559/Aggravated Fleeing a Law Enforcement Officer/08-05-2022

Location: Cedar Grove, NM

Arrested: Douglas Critchfield (70 YOM)

On Friday, August 5th, 2022, deputies were called to assist officers/deputies with an incident at a bicycle race in the Edgewood area. Based on the investigation, the above driver failed to follow orders by officers who were escorting bicyclists for an event. The driver began operating his vehicle in a reckless manner and failed to bring his vehicle to a stop. This caused the race to be briefly paused. The driver did eventually pull over and he was subsequently placed under arrest for Aggravated Fleeing a Law Enforcement Officer and Reckless Driving. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. This incident still remains under investigation.

2022004553-Unattended Death-08/05/22

Deputy Assigned: M. Hernandez

Location: 100 block of Los Ranchos

Victim: 38 year old male

Upon arrival RECC notified deputies there was a 38 yr old male unconscious and not breathing. Spoke with step mother and she stated she located her stepson on the couch unconscious and not breathing. Deputies and Medics administered life saving techniques but were unsuccessful. OMI and deputies did not observe any signs of foul play.

2022004549/ UNATTENDED DEATH

ASSIGNED DEPUTY: JOHN MAYLONE

ENTERING COMMANDER: SGT. CLAY CULLISON

LOCATION: CAMINO AZUL SANTA FE COUNTY

DECEASED: WHITE MALE/ MID-60'S/ SANTA FE RESIDENT

In the morning hours of 8-5-2022, Deputy Maylone responded to a male found deceased in his residence by a family member. There was no signs of foul play, as OMI took over the investigation. At this time, this case is being investigated by the Office of Medical Investigators.
