2022004467-Burglary-Larceny-Criminal Damage to Property-08/01/22

Deputy responded to location reference burglary. Sometime between Friday July 29, 2022 at 1700 hours and Sunday July 31, 2022 at 1900 hours an unknown individual(s) entered residence through open window took miscellanies jewelry from closet in residence. No suspect information at this time

2022004447/Battery against a Household Member/7/31/22

Location: La Posta way

Suspect: Jude Adams, 53, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a domestic dispute. Once on scene Deputies learned the above suspect battered his girlfriend. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into jail.

Case #2022004310 Warrant Service x2 07-26-22

Assigned: Michael Olivas 

Entering: Sgt. E. Webb Jr. 

Location: RIchards Ave./ Rufina St.  

Arrested: Amanda Ahumada 33 yoa female (Santa Fe)

Subject had failed to wear a seat belt and was identified. She was found to have an active warrant for failing to appear in reference to a burglary offense. She also had an active warrant out of the Santa Fe Magistrate Court. She was booked into the ADC without further information. 

Case # 2022004455 Receiving transferring a stolen motor vehicle 8-1-22

Assigned: Ian Burr

Entering: E. Webb Jr. 

Arrested: Antonio Lobato (49 yoa Santa Fe)

Location: Buffalo Thunder Casino 

Santa Fe Deputies were dispatched to the casino in reference to a stolen vehicle which had been located in the parking lot by Pojoaque Tribal Police. Investigation revealed Mr. Lobato had operated the vehicle into the parking lot and entered the casino. Mr. Lobato was detained and found in possession of the vehicle's key. It was learned the vehicle had been stolen earlier in the day from the Route 66 Casino. Mr. Lobato was arrested and booked without further incident. 

Case# 2022004456 Warrant Service/ Possession of fentanyl

Assigned; R. Blea 

Entering: Sgt. E. Webb Jr. 

Location: Entrada La Cienega 

Arrested: Luis Lazoya-Mata 29 yoa male 

Subject was located by deputies patrolling the area. He was alone with a flashlight. A NCIC check revealed he had 3 felony warrants for his arrest and a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest. A search was conducted incident to his arrest and 11 fetanyl pills were located in his pocket. He was taken to Santa Fe County ADC and booked accordingly. 

Case #2022004441 Battery against a household member 07-31-22

Assigned: A. Pool

Entering: Sgt. E. Webb Jr. 

Location: Dan & Son's road (Santa Cruz)

Arrested:Richard Benavidez 47 yoa male (Santa Cruz)

Deputies were dispatched to a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed the suspect had battered his spouse. He was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident. 

2022004450 / Unattended Death / 7-31-2022

Deputy Assigned: R. Garcia

Commander Entering: Cpl. R. Girmendonk

Location: Camino Quieto, Santa Fe County, NM

Victim: Rudy Montoya (83 YOM)

Deputies were dispatched to above location and located the victim deceased. Victim had an extensive medical history and had last been seen on July 25, 2022. No sign of foul play.

2022004439 / DWI / 7/30/2022

Deputy Assigned: R. Garcia

Commander Entering: Cpl. R. Girmendonk

Location: I-25, MM276, Santa Fe County, NM

Arrested: Bryan Steinfield (39 YOM)

Deputies were dispatched to a reckless driver call on northbound I25. Vehicle was located and stopped. Contact with the driver was made and SFST's were conducted. Driver was found to be impaired. Suspect submitted to breath test and samples revealed a .12 and .11 BrAC.

2022004444/Revoked DL/7-31-22

Location: Agua Fria Rd

Suspect: Thomas Sheets, 53, Santa Fe, NM

The suspect was stopped for a traffic violation and through an MVD check the suspect was found to have a revoked license with the arrest clause attached.  The suspect was arrested without incident.

2022004405/burglary/7/29/22

Location: Agua Fria Rd

Suspect: Nazereth Jiron Duran, Santa Fe, NM

The suspect was identified on video surveillance burglarizing a residence, suspect was located and booked into jail.
