On 09-28-16 the victim reported she received a letter from a collection company advising her of a delinquency on a Comcast account. The account was for services rendered at an address in Albuquerque, NM. The victim reported she has never resided in Albuquerque and did not set up the Comcast account. Upon contacting Comcast, the victim learned her social security number was used to set up the account. Suspect information is pending at this time.

On September 26, 2016 at approximately 8:00 pm, subject lent his vehicle, a Gray in color 2006 Ford F-250 bearing NM license plate 501SCL to his friend. His friend never returned the vehicle. Vehicle is valued at $22,000. Case is under investigation.

Arrested: Darius Chacon 35 yoa, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies responded to a residential burglary. Victim report unknown suspect(s) cut a wire to the cable gate and a pad lock to a shed with a bolt cutter and stole the above mentioned item. Witness gave a description of a vehicle and suspect(s). During the course of the investigation, contact was made with the above suspect who attempted to evade. The above suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.

Victim reported sometime between 9-6-2016 and 9-16-2016 unknown suspect(s) entered her residence that was left unsecured and stole the above mentioned items. Case is still under investigation.

Incident Location: Buffalo Thunder Resort and Casino
Items Taken: Black Apple I-Pad
Deputies responded to the Buffalo Thunder Resort and Casino in reference to a stolen Apple I-Pad. The victim advised that she was gambling at slot machines on the casino floor when she decided to change locations to a different set of slot machines. When she changed locations, she left her I-Pad behind and returned a short time later to find it missing. Casino surveillance was reviewed and the case is under investigation.

Charges: Aggravated DWI, Duty to Give Information and Render Aide, Driving While License is Suspended, Assault Against a Peace Officer, Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Suboxone
On Saturday, September 24, 2016 at approximately 10:19pm, Deputies responded to location in reference to a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Suspect had left the scene of the crash and was located in the area. Suspect showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest for DWI. Suspect was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory and agreed to submit to a blood test. Suspect was taken to the Christus St. Vincent Hospital to be medically checked and for a blood draw. While at the hospital the suspect attempted to head butt the deputy. A check of the suspect's driver's license was run through N.C.I.C., which revealed that his driver's license was suspended. Suspect also had Suboxone in his possession. Suspect was medically cleared, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. No one received any life threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

Victim reported he was contacted via text message on 8-28-2016 by a male individual wanting to purchase a custom door from the victim who was selling on Craigslist's. The male individual sent the victim a check for $1450.00 and advised the victim to keep $250 and send the remainder of the money via money gram to a male individual in Chicago, Illinois. Victim then was contacted by the male individual and advised the transaction was cancelled and was instructed to send $75 to a female in Odessa, Ukraine. Shortly later, victim was notified by his bank that the check had bounced and he had insufficient funds in his account. Case is still under investigation.

Arrested: Stephanie Hartwell 33 yoa female (Santa Fe)
Deputies were advised of a domestic dispute, and investigation revealed the suspect had battered her husband after a verbal argument. Suspect was arrested and booked without incident.
