0216004016 / Death Investigation / 04-17-16

Deputy Assigned: M. Archuleta

Commander Entering: Sgt. F. Trujillo

Location: Nine Mile Road, Santa Fe, NM, 87505

  Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to an address on Nine Mile Road in reference to a male subject that was not breathing. Santa Fe Counties Deputies and  Medics arrived on scene. No signs of life were located on 65 year old male subject. OMI was called to the scene, no signs of foul play were observed. This case remains under investigation.

0216003960, Identity Theft, 03.16.16

Deputy Assigned: Joe Lujan

Commander Entering: Lt. W. Pacheco

Location: Torneo Road, Eldorado, NM

Deputies responded to above location in regards to an Identity Theft.  The victim reported he was notified he was late on a payment to a company he had never done business with.  Victim contacted the company and he was advised a computer had been purchased and delivered to Bronx NY.  The was told by the company his social security number had been used to open an account with the company. No suspects have been identified in this case and it is still under investigation.

0216003956, Possession of a Controlled Substance, 03.16.16

Location: 28 Camino Justicia (ADC)

Arrested: Jack Jones, age 29, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies responded to the above location in regards to an inmate found with a tar like substance.  The above defendant admitting to having heroin inside his cell.  The defendant was arrested and re-booked on the above charges.

Case # 0216003968 Death Investigation 03-16-16

Deputy Assigned: Dep. Paul Colombe

Commander Entering: Cpl. Edward Webb Jr.

Location: Camino De Los Ranchos ( Chimayo)

Victim: 63 old male

Deputies were dispatched to a male who was not concious or breathing. Investigation revealed the male had multuiple health problems, and a do not resuscitate order in place. No signs of foul play were observed.

0216003944, Agg DWI, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, 03.16.16

Deputy Assigned: V. Ontiveros

Location: Camino Los Altos/Los Altos way

Arrested: Joaquin Thompson, age 25, Santa Fe, NM

The driver was located at the above location, after leaving the scene of an accident.  Driver was arrested after showing signs of impairment.  He was arrested without incident.

0216003878, Receiving Stolen Property, Resisting Arrest, 3/15/16,

Deputy Assigned: S. Miller

Commander Entering: Lt. M. Post

Location: Buffalo Thunder Resort  Pojoaque

Suspect: Alfonso Marin  Age: 31  Albuquerque

 

Deputies located a stolen pick-up reported out of APD travelling on US 84/285 and conducted traffic stop in the parking lot of the Buffalo Thunder Resort. The driver, Alfonso Marin fled on foot and was apprehended.  Marin was charged with receiving stolen property and resisting arrest.

0216003873, Battery upon Healthcare Worker, Possession of marijuana, 3/15/16

Deputy Assigned: E. Duling

Commander Entering: Lt. M. Post

Location: Milepost 7 Hyde Park Road

Suspect: Nite Joan  Age:25  Santa Fe

Deputies responded to motor vehicle crash and upon arrival learned that Mr. Joan had punched a firefighter in the face who was trying to prevent Mr. Joan from walking in the roadway.  Joan was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana during arrest.  He was booked accordingly.

Location- 1400 block of Borrego Pass  Santa Fe, NM

Victim reported that she had made a claim to Sony to fix her computer. She had contacted the company due to a discrepency in the billing. She was later advised that Sony had accidentally refunded her over $2,000 and wanted her to return the money through Money Gram.  Case is under investigation.

0216003906-Bringing Contraband into a place of imprisonment, Possession of a controlled substance- 3-15-16

Location- 28 Camino Justicia Santa Fe, NM

Person Arrested- Karina Trujillo 33 yo Chimayo, NM

Above subject was arrested and found to have  intentionally brought narcotics into the facility. Subject was re booked.

Person Arrested- Joshua Montoya 28 yo Santa Fe, NM

Above listed subject was found to be in possession of narcotics while incaracerated. He was re booked into the facility.
