Location: I-25 Mile Post 271 (southbound)

Arrested: David Tortilita, age 28

Deputies responded to the above location in regards to a vehicle crash.  The above defendant was the driver of the vehicle and was impaired.  He was transported to the hospital to be evaluated for injuries.  While at the hospital the defendant submitted to a blood draw and was booked accordingly at the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center.

0216004382, Possession of Controlled Substance, 03.24,16

Location: 28 Camino Justicia (ADC)

Arrested: Yraseli Bencomo-Mendez, age 25

Deputies responded to the jail in regards to an inmate with Heroin.  When deputies arrived they interviewed the defendant and she admitted to possessing the narcotic.  The defendant was re-booked on the above charges.

Stolen: various jewelry, electronics

  Santa Fe County Sheriff Deputies responded to the above listed address in reference to a reported burglary. Contact was made with the victim who stated between 2:52pm and 3:27pm suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the victims vehicle, once entry was gained suspect(s) took various jewelry and electronics from within in the vehicle.  This case remains under investigation.

Stolen: Credit cards

  Santa Fe responded to the area of Hyde Park Road in reference to a reported burglary. Deputies arrived on scene and made contact with the victim who stated between 12:30pm and 4:30pm suspect(s) forced entry into the victims vehicle, once entry was gained suspect(s) took credit cards from within the vehicle. This case remains under investigation.

Charges: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Suboxone

On Monday, March 21, 2016 at 12:09am, Deputy responded to location in reference to an inmate that was found in possession of a controlled substance. The suspect was found in possession of Suboxone that was contained in plastic. Suspect was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Person Arrested- Lemer Boyd 26 yo Santa Fe

During a search of cells, the above listed person was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.  Subject was booked accordingly.

Location- 100 Block of Caja Del Rio Road

Items Taken- purse, currency, electronics

Between  3:00 pm and 3:40 pm, subjects gained forced entry into a 2007 Brown in color Toyota pickup and took the above items.  Case is under investigation.

Between the hours of 8:00 am and 12:00 pm, subjects gained entry into the above residence and took the above items.  Case is under investigation.

Location- NM 344/ Interstate 40  Edgewood, NM

Person Arrested- Maria Chavez 50 yo Edgewood, NM

Above listed person was observed driving the wrong way from NM 344 onto Interstate 40. After conducting a traffic stop, the driver showed signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested.
