0216004133 / Criminal sexual contact of a minor / 03-19-16

Arrested: 16-year-old male

On 03-19-16 a 6-year-old girl disclosed to her mother she had been touched in her private area by her 16-year-old male cousin.  An investigation was conducted and the 16-year-old male was placed under arrest on the above charge.

Location: 200 blk of State Road 76, Chimayo, NM

Stolen 2 Firearms, Revolver and Shotgun

Deputies responded to the above location in regards to a burglary.  The victim reported an unknown person entered the residence by kicking in a door.  The victim reported the only items missing were the firearms.  No suspects have been identified and case is still under investigation.

Person Arrested- Shawn Earle 58 yo Santa Fe, NM

On this date, a BOLO was issued regarding a male who was driving a 2001 Land Rover intoxicated.  The vehicle was located and the driver showed signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested and booked accordingly.

Stolen: Electronics / Credit Cards

  Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the intersection of Avenida Del Sur and Richards Avenue in reference to a reported burglary of a motor vehicle. Contact was made with the victim who reported suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the victims vehicle and took the victims electronics and credit cards from within the vehicle. This case remains under investigation.

Between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 2:50 p.m. unknown subjects forcefully entered a 2015 Jeep Cherokee that was parked at the above location, and took the above listed items. Value of items taken is $465.00.  Case is under investigation.

Victim was notified by credit card fraud department that a $1000.00 charge was attempted as well as request to change address and phone number to the account.  No monetary loss was reported.  Case is under investigation.

Arrested: James Woods, 55-year-old male from Glorieta N.M.

On 03-16-16 while having an argument with a family member, Mr. Woods battered the family member by kicking them.  He was arrested on the above charge.
