Case #0216002588, Criminal Damage to Property of a Household Member

On Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 3:27am, Deputies responded to location in reference to a criminal damage in progress. A family member of the victim caused more than $1000 in damage to her vehicle and left the area. Investigation is ongoing.

0216002669, Burglary of Motor Vehicle, 02.21.16

Stolen: Purse with Mexican ID and Medication

Deputies responded to the above location in regards to a burglary of a motor vehicle.  The victim reported the vehicles passanger side window was shattered and the above items were reported stolen.  No suspects have been identified and case is still under investigation.

Deputy was dispatched to the above address. Upon investigation suspects entered a 1997 Toyota 4 Runner and took the above items valued at $150.00.   Case is under investigation.

Case #0216002587, Aggravated DWI

Location: State Road 599 and I-25 West Frontage Road, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle:1998 red Honda Accord

Suspect: Carlos Quintana, 38, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Aggravated DWI, Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic

On Saturday, February 20, 2016 at approximately 1:43am, vehicle was observed failing to maintain it's lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, who is the suspect. Suspect showed signs of impairment and submitted to the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests where he displayed signs of impairment. Suspect was placed under arrest and read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory. Suspect agreed to submit to a breath test. Suspect provided two breath samples and his blood alcohol content was at 0.16 or higher. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Location- 17000 Block of US 85/285

Person Arrested- Michael Padilla 39 yo Rio Rancho, NM

Deputy was dispatched to the above location regarding a narcotics violation.  It was discovered that the above male had entered the premisis and was found by officers injecting a narcotic into his body. Once found by officers, subject attempted to throw a baggie of narcotics into a trash can. Subject was arrested and booked accordingly.

0216002548 / Vehicle evading, Speeding / 02-19-16

Location: State Road 599 mile marker 4

Arrested: Dakota Vigil, 22-year-old female from Albuquerque N.M.

On 02-19-16 at 1:33am the defendant was observed operating a 2010 Mini Cooper on State Road 599 at 97mph in a posted 55mph zone.  Deputies attempted to stop the vehilce but the driver/defendant failed to stop.  The defendant turned onto a side road and into the driveway of a home battempting to elude deputies.  She struck some concrete debris causing the vehicle to come to a stop.  She was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail on the above charges.

Location: 800 block of NM 502, Santa Fe NM

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to ambulance assist.  Upon arrival it was discovered a 60 yoa male had collapsed after complaining of tightness to his chest.  Victim was not breathing and had no pulse.  Living saving techniques were performed to no avail.  No signs of foul play.  OMI was called and took over the scene.

Victim reported someone had opened 5 credit cards in his name and accrued a large amount of debt in his name. Case is under investigation.

Location: Avenida Vista Grande (Eldorado)

Stolen: 3 Diamond Mens wedding band

Victim reported while he was at work on February 12, 2016  he set down his wedding band on a table. Victim stated he left the area for a short time and when he came back, his ring was missing. Case is under investigation.

Location: S. San Mateo (Santa Fe)

Arrested: Bertha Boling 55yoa female

Deputies were dispatched to the area in reference to a domestic. Investigation revealed the suspect battered her husband. Suspect was arrested and booked without incident.
