Suspect: Jason Applebaum, 38, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: DWI, Driving on roadways laned for traffic

On Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 12:15am vehicle was observed failing to maintain it's lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, who is the suspect. Suspect showed signs of impairment and the Standardiazed Field Sobriety Tests were administered. Suspect displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for DWI. Suspect was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory and agreed to submit to chemical testing. Suspect provided two breath samples, which showed he had a breath alcohol content of 0.08 or higher. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. The vehicle was not seized due to the driver having no prior DWI arrests.

Person Arrested- Thomas Martinez 45 yo Santa Fe, NM

A traffic stop was conducted on the above individual for failing to wear his seat belt.  It was found that the individual did not have proof of insurance and was driving on a revoked driver's license. Subject was booked accordingly.

Location: Canada Ancha    Chimayo, NM

Items Stolen: Electronics, Jewelry, Power Tools, Currency, Documents

Deputies were dispatched to location in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, deputies were told that sometime between 2-12-16 at 6:00 p.m. and 2-13-2016 at 2:00 am, unknown persons forced entry into the home and stole the listed type of items. The case is under investigation.

Arrested: Flor Ortiz      Age: 37       Santa Fe,NM

Deputies were dispatched to location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, it was determined the suspect scratched and bit the victim during the arguement. Suspect was arrested and taken to jail.

0216002196-Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property- 2-12-16

Items Taken- Miscallanous vehicle parts

On this date, deputy was dispatched to the above address.  Upon investigation, it was found that unknown subjects took the above items from several vehicles parked on the property. Subjects also damaged a window on one of the vehicles.  Case is under investigation.

Stolen: miscelleneous jewelry

   Santa Fe Sheriff's Deputies responded to an address on Evergreen Lane in reference to a reported burglary. Deputies arrived and made contact with the victim who stated suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the victims home between February 10, 2016 and February 11, 2016. Once entry was gained suspect(s) took miscelleneous jewelry from within the home. This case remains under investigation.

Case#: 0216002168/Aggravated Assault on a Household Member with a deadly weapon/Date: 02-11-2016

Location: Agua Fria/ San Felipe Road, Santa Fe, NM (Agua Fria Area)

Arrested: Eunice Valenzuela 31 yoa female, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Aggravated Assault on a HHM with a deadly weapon, Abandonment or abuse of a Child 3 counts, Reckless driving, and No Insurance

Deputies responded to the above area around 10:23pm in reference to a reckless driver.  A caller advised a Lincoln SUV was attempting to ram a Jeep.  The above suspect was located driving recklessly on Airport Road, as she followed the victim in th Jeep.  The vehicles were located at the intersection of Agua Fria and San Felipe driving in a reckless manner, which resulted in the suspect crashing into the victim's vehicle.  It was discovered the suspect had attempted to ram the victim's vehicle several times after a verbal dispute.  A welfare check was conducted on the suspect's three (3) children and they were found to be left alone in the suspect's residence, with the front door unsecure.  Suspect was arrested and booked on the above charges without further incident at the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Arrested: Rene O. Cruz, age 31

Deputies responded to the jail to serve the above suspect an outstanding warrant.  The warrant was issued out of Santa Fe Magistrate Court for failure to comply with conditions of probation.  He was re-booked without incident.

0216002154, Larceny, 02.11.16

Stolen: Laptop valued at $1,200.00

Deputies responded to the Engage High School and learned between January 25, 2016 and February 11, 2016 a laptop was taken from a students vehicle.  The student was unsure when and where the laptop was stolen from the vehicle.  Case is still under investigation.
