Arrested: Nicole Montoya, 31-year-old female from Albuquerque N.M.

On 01-27-16 a corrections officer observed the above defendant attempting to pass an item to another inmate through a door.  The item was intercepted and discovered to be Suboxone strips.

Suspect: Marvin Salazar, 39, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle: 2004 Silver Nissan Pathfinder

Charges: DWI, Open Container

On Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 8:03pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a vehicle with front end damage and airbag deployment. The vehicle had front end damage and both airbags deployed. The suspect was in the driver's seat and in control of the vehicle. Suspect had an odor of intoxicating liquor, bloodshot watery eyes, and slurred speach. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and the suspect displayed signs of impairment. Suspect was placed under arrest for DWI. The vehicle had open containers of alcoholic beverages. Suspect was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory and agreed to submit to a breath test. Suspect provided two breath samples of more the .08. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. The area was checked for a crash scene, which was not located.
