Case#: 0209008734/ Assault, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting or Obstructing an officer/ Date: 10/01/09

Suspect:  Bileen Huston, age 26, Rio Rancho, NM

Charged:  Assault, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting or obstructing an officer

On 10/01/09 while deputy was at St. Vincent Hospital, he observed suspect assault a security guard at the hospital.  Suspect yelled at victim and threatened to hurt him and also closed distance with his fist clinched.  Deputy intervened and arrested suspect.  Suspect was resisting arrest.  Suspect continued to yell in hospital where there were several patients and medical staff.  Suspect was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center and booked accordingly.

Suspect:  Jennifer Pelt, age 35, Farmington, NM

Charged:  Agg. DWI, Careless Driving, Driving while license suspended/revoked, Open container, Fail to yield to emergency vehicle, Bench warrant out of Sandoval County for failure to appear

On 10/01/09 deputy observed vehicle run a stop sign and almost caused 2 vehicles to crash into the vehicle.  Suspect finally stopped vehicle and contact was made with driver who displayed signs of impairment.  Suspect was given SFST's and was found to be impaired.  Suspect was found to have a suspended/revoked driver's license.  Open containers of Budweiser beer were located inside the vehicle.  Suspect was arrested and read the NM Implied Consent and refused to submit to a breath test.  Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.  The vehicle was seized pursuant to the Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5.

Location Of Incident: US Highway 84-285

Suspect: Pending

On the above date the victim reported that someone had broke in to three storage sheds at the above location. Entry was gained by cutting the locks off the doors. Taken from one of the storage sheds was a power washer and some tools. It is unknown what was taken from the other storage sheds because the owners could not be contacted. This incident occured on 09-30-09 between 09:00 AM and 5:30 PM.

On 10-01-09 at approximately 1245 PM deputies were dispatched to the above location reference to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival it was determined that entry was gained through the north side bedroom wiindow. Taken from inside the residence was a TV and some eletronic games. The suspects left through the rear door before the deputies arrival.

On the above date, the above named officer while patrolling the area listed above came upon a silver Dodge truck bearing NM plate 323-JYJ parked.  upon making contact with the defendant a check was conducted on his driver's license.  The defendant returned with an active arest order out of the NMSP #M-49-TR 200903266.  The defendant was arrested and booked at the adult detention center without incident.

Stolen: 2 purses, wallet, miscellaneous documents

On 09-30-09 the victim reported that between 3:30pm and 3:47pm, his vehicle was burglarized while parked at the above location. The vehicle was left open while his wife was dropping of their kids. The unknown suspect(s) removed the above items from the vehicle. One of the purses was found on Camino Tierra Real and returned to the victim. Susptects are pending in this case.

On 09-20-09 at approximately 12:00 PM  someone stole the victim's credit card from the above location. On 09-29-09 the suspect used the credit card and purchased $1,600.00 worth of merchandise.

Location:  residence off of Mesa Pino, Santa Fe, NM (Rancho Viejo)

Victim:  73 year old female

On 9/29/09 deputy was dispatched to a CPR in progress of an unconscious female who was not breathing.  Upon arrival Santa Fe County Medic unit advised that the victim had no signs of life.  Deputy spoke to victim's son who located victim.  OMI arrived on scene and pronounced time of death.  No foul play was located.  Victim did have a medical history.

Victim reported that today between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. unknown persons gained entry into her home through an open window and removed jewelry.  No physical evidence was located.  Estimated amount taken is about $1000.00.
