On 4/24/09 at 1:00am, suspect was driving a 2001 Ford Ranger pk, bearing NM plate# 327-RIR, and was stopped for driving very slow, and repeated braking. Suspect was found to be highly intoxicated, and was arrested, charged, booked accordingly. Breath tests were .18/.17

On 4/23/09, 11:00pm subject was stopped and cited for a traffic violation. Subject had an outstanding warrant, and was arrested, bokked acordingly.

Charges: Burglary, Larcey, Criminal Damage to Property, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor
The victim contacted 911 to report that he arrived home and found two males were burglarizing his residence. Deputies arrived and the suspects had fled on foot from the residence. The suspects were known by the victim and were identified to the Deputy, who then tracked down the suspects and took them into custody. The investigation revealed that the suspects kicked the front door in on the residence in order to steal a small safe which contained a small amount of marijuana. The safe was recovered and a small amount of marijuana was found inside. The owner of the safe was cited for possession of marijuana under one ounce. One of the males suspects was a juvenile and was turned over to his parents. The above named individual was booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Jail.

On the above date, the above named officer arrested the defendant for DWI. The defendant was reported to be driving recklessly in the area and was pulled over at the above location. The defendant failed field tests and was taken to St. Vicent's Hospital for a blood draw. Results are pending. The defendant was transported and booked accordingly at the adult detention center.

On April 22, 2009 a victim reported that sometime in the last week an unknown person(s) gained forced entry into an unoccupied vacant residence and stole the electric range, microwave oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time.

On April 22, 2009 at approximately 7:00 a.m. an abandoned red in color Ford Focus that was registered to Enterprise Rent-A-Car was located at the above location. Enterprise was contacted and informed of this vehicles location. The rental car company then contacted a family member of the person (listed victim) that had rented the vehicle. The family member then contacted the Sheriff's Office to report the above victim as a missing person. The area where the vehicle was located was searched for the victim although he was not located. At approximately 5:00 p.m. the victim was located wondering around on several properties located off of Gold Mine Road in Cerrillos, NM where it is suspected that he damaged some vehicle and barns in the area.

On 4-22-09 Santa Fe County Detention Center correction officers located a green leafy substance concealed on the suspect listed above who is an inmate at the above facility. The located substance field tested positive for Marijuana and the suspect was charged for possession of Marijuana under 1oz.

On April 22, 2009 at approximately 10:30 a.m. deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress at a residence in the above location. Upon deputies arrival the victim reported that two males forced entry into her residence unaware that she was inside. When the victim confronted the suspects they exited the residence and entered into a dark blue sports utility vehicle that was parked in the back of the residence and fled the area. No suspect information is available at this time.
