Stolen: currency

Victim reported sometime on 10-21-2016 around 9pm and 10-22-2016 around 9am, unknown suspects gained unlawful entry into his unlocked vehicle and stole $2.50 in coins.  In addition, unknown suspect(s) damaged the steering column and disconnected the wiring in attempt to steal the vehicle.  Case is under investigation.

Victim reports 1995 Chevy Corvette entered through unlocked door and rummaged through with nothing reported missing.  A second vehicle on the property was also entered and a check book is reported missing.  Case is under investigation.

Case #0216016707, Resistin, Evading or Obstructing an Officer

Location: Buffalo Thunder Trail, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Tyler Abalos, 31, Kennedale, TX

On Sunday, October 23, 2016 at approximately 1:42am, Deputy responded to location in reference to a resisting officer. Suspect was being detained by Pojoaque Police Department and pulled away and was uncooperative. Suspect was non-native and was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. No one received any life-threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

Case #0216016652, Aggravated DWI

Location: US Highway 84/285 Mile Marker 179, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle: Red 2010 Ford Focus

Suspect: Rosa Mier-Lozoya, 59, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Aggravated DWI, Driving On Roadways Laned For Traffic

On Saturday, October 22, 2016 at approximately 12:50am, Deputy responded to location in reference to a possible impaired driver, who had been stopped by the Pojoaque Police Department. Pojoaque Police Department Officer had seen the vehicle failing to maintain it's lane of travel and conducted a traffic stop. It was learned that the driver was not Native American. Contact was made with the driver, who showed signs of impairment. The Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and the driver continued to show signs of impairment. Suspect was placed under arrest for DWI and was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory. Suspect agreed to submit to a breath test and provided two breath samples of 0.16 or more. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Case #0216016649, Battery Against a Household Member

Victim: Male, 37, Albuquerque, NM

Suspect: Aramita Pacheco, 26, Albuquerque, NM

On Friday, October 21, 2016 at approximately 10:35pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. Victim and suspect, who are boyfriend and girlfriend, had been involved in an argument. During the argument the suspect battered the victim. The battery was confirmed by surveillance video. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. No one received any life-threatening injuries as a result of this incident..

Charges: Aggravated Burglary, Larceny

On Friday, October 21, 2016 at approximately 7:59pm, Deputies responded to location in reference to a residential burglary. An unknown suspect(s) gained entry through an unsecured door and removed jewelry and two firearms. Investigation is ongoing.

Suspect Arrested: Leon Hayes

Location: 28 Camino Justicia (Adult Detention Facility)

Deputies were dispatched to the jail in reference to a narcotics violation.  Upon arrival it was found the above suspect was found in possession of seven pieces of orange film suspected to be suboxone as well as a syringe.  Suspect was rebooked without incident.

Deputies were dispatched to the jail in reference to a narcotics violation.  Upon arrival it was determined the above suspect was found with seven pieces of an orange film suspected to be suboxone.  The suspect was rebooked without incident.

Suspect: Unknown

Deputies dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary.  Upon arrival it was determined between 9:00 a.m. and 7:10 p.m. on above date forced entry was made into the home through a bedroom window.  Above items were taken, case is under investigation.
