On September 4th, 2016, Deputies responded to a residence in the El Rancho area in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle.  Deputies made contact with the victim who advised that sometime between 5:30 PM, on 9/3/16 and the reporting date and unknown person(s) entered his unlocked vehicle and stole various items.  No suspects information is available at this time.

Location: Sueno De Vigil, Santa Fe, NM, 87532 ( Arroyo Seco area)

Arrested: Clara Stover, 26 years old, Santa Fe, NM, 87532

  Santa Fe County Sheriff's Officer responded to the area of Sueno De Vigil in reference to a reported domestic dispute occurring in a vehicle. Deputies arrived and observed a vehicle matching the description. Contact was made with the homeowner. The driver was identified  by Deputies. The driver, Clara Stover had an odor of alcoholic beverages coming from her breath. SFST's were administered. Clara Stover showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. Clara Stover gave submitted to a breath test which showed the drivers alcohol content over .08. The driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

Location: 1000 Block of Camino Vista Aurora, Santa Fe, NM, 87507

 Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a reported credit card fraud at an address on Camino Vista Aurora. Deputies arrived and made contact with the victim who stated that suspect(s) unlawfully took the victims drivers license and credit cards. Victim later discovered that suspect(s) unlawfully used the victims credit cards to obtain over $500. This case remains under investigation.

0216013937 - Aaggravated DWI - 09-03-16

Location: Buffalo Thunder Casino/Resort (Parking Lot)

Suspect: Joshua Vigil – 37 - Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Aggravated DWI

The original call was made by Drunk-Busters. They provided the suspect’s vehicle description and plate information to Pojoaque Tribal PD. Pojoaque officers located the vehicle matching the description and plate information driving in the Buffalo Thunder parking lot. The suspect was found to be impaired and was subsequently arrested for DWI. The vehicle was seized under county ordinance no.2013-5 due to the suspect having 2 prior DWIs. Suspect provided two breath samples with results of .23, and .24 BrAc.

Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Facility

0216013954/ Death Investigation/ 09-03-16

Deputy Assigned: D. Romero

Commander Entering: Sgt. J. Rodriguez

Location- Birla Court-Eldorado

Decedent: 81 year old male.

On 09-03-16 Deputies responded to an unresponsive male at the above location. Upon arrival the decedent was found in the kitchen. Santa Fe Med 80 was on scene attempting life saving techniques. However, the decedent could not be revived. The decedent did have medical history. No signs of foul play were observed.

0216013934 / DWI, Reckless driving, Open container / 09-02-16

Location: Interstate 25 mile post 264 southbound

Arrested: Margaret Lucero, 53-year-old female from Albuquerque N.M.

 

On 09-02-16 at about 11:30pm Ms. Lucero was traveling south on the interstate when she lost control of her vehicle causing it to roll over.  Further investigation revealed she was driving while intoxicated.  Deputies also located open alcoholic containers in her vehicle.  She was arrested on the above charges and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Location- Camel Rock Casino

Person Arrested- Monica Pena 32 yo La Madera

The above listed person was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and suboxone  after going back to the casino to retrieve a lost purse. She was booked accordingly.

0216013903-Possession of drug paraphernalia- 9-2-16

Location- 28 Camino Justicia

Person Arrested- Isaac Roybal 25 yo Santa Fe

Detention staff observed a syringe on the bunk of the above listed person's cell while a cell search was being conducted. When questioned, another syringe was located under the above listed person's foot.  Subject was re booked accordingly.

Location- 100 block of North San Mateo Way

Person Arrested- James Ferrell 26 yo Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the above location regarding a domestic dispute. Upon investigation, it was found that the above listed person battered his girlfriend. Subject was booked accordingly.

Items Taken- Jewelry valued at $7,163

Between August 18, 2016 and August 20, 2016, unknown subjects took the above listed items from the above listed address.  Case is under investigation.
