Charges; Shoplifting, Arrest Order- Probation violation

Stolen: A black in color NFL Greenbay Packers Wrist Watch- $19.99

On 06-06-16 the above defendant was observed taking the above item from the Valero Convenience Store. The manager confronted the defendant outside the store and retrieved the item. The defendant was placed under arrest for Shoplifting. It was further learned the defendant was on probation and an arrest order was filed by the Santa Fe Probation and Parole Office. The defendant was booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Adulft Correctional Facility.

Suspect: Luis Lozoya-Mata, 23, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Driving While LIcense Revoked, Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic

On Sunday, June 5, 2016 at approximately 10:25pm, Deputy observed the vehicle pull out onto Airport Road traveling the wrong way for about 100 feet to head westbound on Airport Road. A traffic stop was conducted, contact was made with the driver and the driver was run through N.C.I.C. The driver returned with a revoked license with the 66-8-122G arrest clause attached. Driver was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. The vehicle was not seized due to the incident occurring within the incorperated area of the city of Santa Fe.

Suspect: Louie Romero, 44, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Aggravated DWI, Careless Driving

On Sunday, June 5, 2016 at approximately 10:37pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a vehicle that was stuck. Deputy observed the vehicle had gone off the roadway and was highcentered. Driver showed signs of impairment and submitted to the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Driver displayed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. Driver was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory and agreed to submit to a breath test. Driver provided two breath samples of more than 0.16. Driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Vehicle was seized under the Santa Fe County ordinance 2006-05 amended 2013-5.

Location: Agua Fria Village MHP

Deputies responded to an ambulance assist call regarding an unconcious adult male.  Deputies performed CPR until medics arrived and transported the subject to St. Vincent hospital where he was pronounced deceased from an apparent Heroin overdose.  No foul play suspected.

0216008528, Posession of Controlled Substance, Tampering with Evidence, 6/4/16

Suspect: Marcos Luevano  Age: 20  Santa Fe

Deputies dispatched to ambulance assist call and discovered Luevano had hid approx. 2 grams of Heroin in a shoe just before they arrived.  He was booked for possession and tampering with evidence.

Suspect: Gilberto Medina-Pena   Age: 32  Albq.

Deputies responded to a Domestic Dispute and learned that Medina-Pena had battered a household member causing minor injury.  During the arrest, a small amount of Cocaine was located on his person.  He was booked accordingly.

On Sunday, June 5, 2016 at approximately 12:20am, Deputy responded to location in reference to an inmate found in possession of a controlled substance. Inmate was found in possession of suspected Suboxone and was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Person was stopped while operating a motor vehicle after Deputies observed a traffic violation. Deputies contacted the driver and detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage. The driver was administered sobriety tests and impairment was detected. The driver refused to chemical testing and was arrested and charged accordingly. Driver was booked into the jail.

On 06-03-16 the victim reported an unknown person(s) fraudulently used her US Bank credit card on an online website. The card was used from 03-04-16 to 04-04-16. The total charges are in excess of $5,000.00. Suspect information is pending at this time.
