  Santa Fe Sheriff's Deputies responded to an address on Buffalo Thunder Trail in reference to a reported burglary. Contact was made with the victim who reported on todays date  suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the victims vehicle. Once entry was gained suspect(s) took a bag with various clothing. This case remains under investigation.

Case#: 0215010794/Auto Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/Date: 07-13-2015

Location: Aspen Meadows Trailhead, Santa Fe, NM (Hyde Park Road)

Stolen: Purse, Wallet, Credit/Debit Cards, Clothing, watch, IPad, and IPhone total estimated value: $1,470.00

Victim reports that on July 10th, 2015 between the hours of 12:00pm and 2:00pm unknown person gained unlawful and forced entry into their 2014 Red Volvo at the above location.  Entry was gained by breaking the front passanger window.  Once inside the above items were taken.  Case still pending further investigation.

Items Taken- Electronics

 

On the above date, deputies were dispatched to the above location.  Upon arrival, it was deternined that suspects entered the residence by force between the hours of 8 PM on July 12 to 11 AM this date. After gaining entry suspects took the above items.  Case is under investigation.

Case# 0215010779 / Battery against a household member / 07-13-15

Location: Residence on Antonio Lane off Agua Fria Street

Arrested: Natasha Lazoya, 30-year-old female from Santa Fe N.M.

 

On 07-13-15 the above defendant was involved in an altercation with a household member.  During the altercation the defendant battered the household member.  The defendant was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail. 

 

 

 

 

Case # 0215010764 Revoked DL, Speeding 07-12-15

Location: MP 183 US 84-285 ( Pojoaque)

Arrested: Fernando Jacquez 55 yoa male (Espanola)

On July 13th, 2015 a Pojoaque Police Officer stopped the above subject for a speeding violation. The driver was found to be revoked due to a DWI. Due to the Pojoaque officer not having authority to arrest the subject, a Sheriff's Deputy was sent to the scene where he arrested the subject. The suspects vehicle was seized in accordance with County Ordinance. The Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center without incident.

Case #021501717 Unattended Death 07-11-15

Location: Povi Pin Poe ( Pojoaque)

Deceased: 43 Yoa male

Deputies were dispatched to a report of an unconcious male who was not breathing. Victim was found to have passed away. OMI and Deputies do not suspect foul play.

Case #0215010745, Death Investigation

Location: Calle San Ysidro, Espanola, NM

Deceased: Male, 30, Espanola, NM

On Sunday, July 12, 2015 at 11:18 am, Deputies responded to location in reference to a male who was unresponsive. Medics also responded to the scene and were unable to revive the deceased. The Office of the Medical Examiner was dispatched to the scene. There were no signs of trauma at the scene. The deceased did have an extensive medical history.

Location: 27100 block of Interstate 25 East Frontage Road, Santa Fe, NM

Victim: Male, 54, Santa Fe, NM

On Saturday, July 11, 2015, at 12:27 PM, Deputies were notified by the victim that a relative had taken a firearm belonging to him. Sometime within the past two years the relative of the victim took victim's firearm and may have sold it to someone else. Investigation is ongoing.

0215010678 / DWI, Driving while license revoked / 07-11-2015

Deputy assigned: J. Lopez

Location:  Santa Cruz Dam Road, Chimayo N.M.

Arrested: Benito Carrasquillo, 40-year-old male from Tesuque N.M.

On 07-11-15 at approximately 12:30AM a traffic stop was conducted on a blue in color GMC Yukon at the above location.  The driver, Mr. Carrasquillo displayed signs of intoxication.  Further investigation revealed he was intoxicated and his driver's license was revoked.  He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

0215010663 / Aggravated DWI, Speeding, Possession of a controlled substance to witt: Clonazepam / 07-10-15

Location: State Road 599 mile post 9

Arrested: Daniel Maes Jr. 31-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 07-10-15 the above subject was stopped for speeding while driving a 2003 Honda Civic on State Road 599.  Further investigation revealed he was driving under the influence of alcohol and was in possession of Clonazepam without a valid prescription.  He refused chemical testing and was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.
