Damaged: 2008 Ford F250 Hood and Windsheild

Cost of Damage: $1,400.00

On 05-04-09 at approximately 1752-hours/ 5:52pm, the victim reported that someone had damaged her vehicle. The unknown suspect(s) had thrown rocks at the victims vehicle, causing the damage. The victim estimated the damage at about $1.400.00. The damage was to the hood and windsheild.

Stolen: Black Knit Purse with keys and make up

Value: $30.00

On 05-04-09 between 1:45pm and 9:00pm, unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the above  residence and stole a black knit purse with keys and make up. The suspect(s) forced open the front door to gain access.

Charges:  Battery Against a household member

 

Victim reported that on 5-4-09 at approximately 11:00 a.m. she was involved in a domestic disturbance with her husband during which time he threw her to the floor and struck her in the face with his knee.  Victim sustained visible injury.  Above subject was located at the scene and was arrested accordingly.

On the above date it was reported that there was a damaged vehicle belonging to the US Forestry Dept. at the above location. The vehicle was located and impounded due to the damage done to it. Contact was made with the Forest Service and they stated that they did not have any missing vehicles.

On 05-03-09 Victims to four auto burglaries called our agency to file a report. They stated that on the date in question between the hours of 0900 AM and 1130 AM someone used some kind of pry tool to open the windows to their vehicles. Taken from the vehicles were cell phones, lap top computers cash and credit cards.

CASE 0209003764 / AGGRAVATED DWI-OPEN CONTAINER-ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC / 05-03-2009

DEPUTY ASSIGNED:  DEPUTY JAMES BRIAN NISSEN

COMMANDER:  SGT. CLIFTON L. COLEMAN

LOCATION:  COUNTY ROAD 56 / COLONY DRIVE, LA CIENEGIA AREA

ARRESTED:  JESUS O. VARELA-HERNANDEZ 38 YOA MALE

CHARGES:  AGGRABVATED DWI-ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC-OPEN CONTAINER

On this date above listed suspect was observed traveling east bound on County Road #56, failing to maintain his lane of the roadway. Suspect was stopped and found to be intoxicated and in possession of an open container.  After Feild Soberiety test were done, suspect was arrested on above listed charges.  Suspect had a .17 BrAC results from breath testing.  Suspect was transported to the Adult Detention Center and booked on charges.

Location: Santa Fe County Road 74- Tesuque

Stolen: Stihl Chain Saw, Craftsman Rototiller, gas grill

Value: $2,718.00

On 05-03-09 Deputy York was dispatched to the above location. The victim reported that between 04-29-09 at approximately 9:00pm and 05-02-09 at approximately 6:00pm, unknown suspects gained entry through an unlocked window. Once inside the above items were stolen. No suspects have been identified at this time.

0209003761/ Battery Against a Household Member/ 05-03-09

Location: Calle Daniel- Santa Fe

On 05-03-09 Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival they learned that a hispanic male had battered his wife. The victim did show signs of injuries. The offender was booked accordingly at the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

0209003748 Larceny

Deputy assigned: Nathan Segura

Commander entering: Cpl. Fred Suazo

Location : Big Tesuque Canyon, Santa Fe NM

Items stolen : 2X Cermic pots, valued at $600.00

Arrested : Omar Sanchez-Medina 23 years old & Roberto Escalera 21 years old.

On 5/3/09 at about 1137hrs it was reported that two male subjects had jumped a fence at the above location and stole two ceramic pots valued at about $600.00. Victim stated his neighbor witnessed the incident and reported seeing the suspect vehicle license plate as it drove away. The two suspects were located and admitted to stealing the two pots and hiding them. The suspects showed deputes where the stolen items were stashed, suspects were arrested and booked into the Fe County Jail. The stolen property was recovered and returned to the owner.
