On 4/19/08, deputies responded to the above location in reference to a commercial burglary.  Complainant who was working inside the store stated that he observed 2 males walk into the store which was closed in which they had their heads and faces covered with black masks.  Entry was gained into the store by breaking the front glass doors with a rock.  Both subjects left the area when the complainant yelled at them.  Estimated damage amount is about $500.00.  No items were taken.

Report  of individual panhandling and playing the guitar in the parking lot of the shopping Center when contacted and identified found out he had an outstanding Municipal Court Warrants  for Failure to Appear and Failure to Comply with conditions of probation. Subject was arrested without inicident taken to jail and booked in. No bond was set.

While conducting traffic stop on the above subject, it was discovered the individual was found to have an outstanding District Court Warrant issued by the Honorable Michael Vigil for Failure to appear, subject was taken into custody without incident , transported and booked into the jail. No Bond was set.

Suspect: Steve Rivera Jr., age 33, Santa Fe NM

Charged: DWI, Vehicles Approaching or Entering Intersection.

4/17/08 above suspect was stopped after failing to yield to traffic when taking a right hand turn from Cerrillos Road onto Airport Road.  The suspect almost collieded with a marked Sheriff's patrol unit at the intersection.  Deputy noticed signs of impairment when making contact with the suspect.  Suspected admitted to drinking two beers at about at 4:00 pm this date.  A Brac was administered and suspect registered a .12, .14 and was arrested, he was booked accordingly at the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Suspect:  Crystal Ortega, age 22, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI, Speeding, Driving on a suspended Driver's License, No Insurance

On 4/16/08 vehicle was observed travelling at 41 in a posted 25mph.  Upon contact with the driver an odor of a consumed alcoholic beverage was emitting from her breath and person.  Driver admitted to drinking.  SFST's were conducted and driver was arrested for signs of impairment.  Driver had a suspended driver's license and had no insurance.  Driver was then transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Case#: 0208003113/ Abandonment or Abuse of a Child, DWI(Felony), Driving on a Revoked Driver's License/ Date: 04/16/08

Location of arrest:  Agua Fria & San Isidro Crossing, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Rebecca Dominguez-Gonzales, age 43, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Abandonment or abuse of a child, DWI(Felony), Driving on a revoked Driver's License, Careless Driving

On 4/16/08 suspect was observed traveling westbound on Agua Fria and came across the center line.  Suspect then turned onto San Isidro Crossing and stopped in the middle of the roadway.  Suspect had her 4 year old child in the front seat of the vehicle.  Suspect was found to be impaired and she had 3 prior DWI's.  She had a revoked driver's license.  Suspect was read the NM Implied Consent and submitted to a blood test.  She was then transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center and booked accordingly.

Case#: 0208003116, Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Service of Documents Date: 04/16/08

Location of arrest:  42 West Cochiti, Santa Fe, NM (Silverado Subdivision)

Suspect:  Anthony Lucero, age 44, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated Battery with a deadly weapon, Bench warrant out of Sandoval County for Probation Violation(Failure to comply with conditions of Probation) and a warrant out of the Department of Corrections- Probation and Parole

On 4/16/08, deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at the above location.  Both individuals were still fighting with one another.  It was learned that the suspect had struck the victim in the head with a metal pipe.  Victim struggled with the suspect and the suspect sustained burns on his body.  Both victim and suspect were transported to St. Vincent Hospital for their injuries.  Suspect had an active warrant out of Probation and Parole for voluntary manslaughter and one out of SandovalCounty.

Suspect: Juan Rendon   Age:49   Santa Fe

Juan Rendon was arrested for Aggravated DWI after being found in control of his 2001 Dodge pick-up in the parkinglot of Tortilla Flats Resturaunt in an impaired state.  Rendon was observed driving down Cerrillos Road in a dangerous manner and followed until deputies could locate him in the parking lot.  Rendon refused sobriety and chemical tests and was charged accordingly

Victim reports that his work shed was entered unlawfully and various power tools were taken.  No forced entry.  Burglary occured on 4/14/08 in the afternoon.  Case is under investigation.

On 04-16-08 the victim reported that she hired the above suspect to do plumbing work at her residence. The victim paid the individual and the work has not been completed. The work began in November of 2007. Case is under investigation.
