0220001020 / Criminal Damage / 1-19-20

Location: E Chili Line Road

Deputies responded to the listed location in reference to the criminal damage of a home.  Investigation revealed sometime between 1/17/20 and 1/19/20, unknown suspects broke a window to the residence and damaged a door trying to make entry into the house.  Entry was not made and evidence was collected on scene.  Case is under investigation.

0220001012,Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, 1-18-2020

Incident Location: 30 Block of Tango Road

Arrested: Derek Padilla  29 yoa, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies dispatched to above location in reference to a stolen vehicle report.  The victim identified the suspect as the above individual who resides with her. Let it be noted, a traffic stop was conducted prior to the stolen vehicle report and the driver was identified as the above subject. Shortly later, the vehicle is seen driving back to the residence and a high risk traffic stop was conducted.  The above suspected was apprehended and read his Miranda Rights.  Above suspect admitted to taking the motor vehicle without the permission of the registered owner.  Subject was charged and booked accordingly.

0220001008, Battery upon a peace officer, 1-18-20

Incident Location: 28 Camino Justicia, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Storm Teesateskie   21 yoa

Deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to battery on a peace officer.  Correction Officer stated he entered the cell to provide the suspect with bedding and the suspect opened the cell door and attacked him.  Suspect was charged and re-booked accordingly.

Incident Location: NM 503 MM 5

Suspect: Lucas Samora   Age: 21

Deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a crash with injuries.  Upon arrival to location, the vehicle drove off of the roadway and attempted to get back on road, but was unsuccessful. The above male subject was found sleeping in the driver's seat with the engine running.  Subject admitted of consuming alcoholic beverages and denied driving.  Deputies found no shoe impressions outside of the vehicle from other occupants.  SFST's were administered and the above subject showed signs of impairment.  Subject was arrested and agreed to submit to a chemical test, which he blew a .13, and .12g/210L.  Subject charged and booked accordingly.

0220000954 Fraudulent use of a credit card 1/17/2020

On 1/17/2020, Deputy responded to the above location in regards to fraudulent use of a credit card. Victim reported his wallet was lost or stolen from the above location. After further investigation it was determined the victims credit cards had four unauthorized charges by an unidentified suspect(s). No suspects have been identified at this time.

Suspect: Thomas Martinez   Age: 34

On Thursday January 16, 2020, Deputies responded to a vehicle crash on Hyde Park Road.  Deputies located a male passed out in a vehicle who appeared to be intoxicated.  Suspect agreed to a breath test and blew a .35g/210L.  Suspect was booked at the Santa Fe County Jail.

0220000838 Auto Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property 1/15/2020

Location: 14 Avalon Road, Santa Fe, NM 87508

 

On 1/15/2020, Deputy responded to the above location in regards to a burglary. During the course of the investigation it was learned the victim confronted a Hispanic male in his 40’s, wearing a red shirt, blue jeans, 5’7’’, about 170lbs, short hair, short mustache holding a crowbar next to his shed. After the suspect was confronted he fled in a white Subaru station wagon 4 door with damage to the front bumper. Entry was made in the shed. No items were reported stolen. The suspect has not been identified.
