The missing person left his residence at approximately 2:30 PM driving a 2013 BMW X351 license plate LAY397. It was discovered that he has Alzheimer's and the reporting person was concerned about his safety due to his mental condition. He was entered into NCIC and a silver alert was issued by NMSP.

The victims vehicle was broken into by unknown suspect(s) who stole an AR-15 that was inside. The firearm was entered into NCIC.

Location: 7 Tesuque Road ( Santa Fe)

Subject was recognized as a wanted person while he was at the casino. He was arrested and transported to the Santa Fe County Jail where he was booked and served with a warrant charging fail to comply with conditions of probation out of the Sandoval County District Court.

Subject was stopped after they were traveling 30 MPH below the speed limit and failing to maintain a lane of travel. Subject showed signs of impairment and was arrested. Subject refused to provide a breath sample and was booked without incident.

On 1/8/2020, Deputy responded to the above location in regards to a burglary. Contact was made with the victim was stated an unidentified suspect(s) removed a tank less water heater from a residence that is currently under construction. No suspects have been identified at this time.

On Wednesday, January 8, 2020 deputies responded to the mentioned location in reference to a male violating a court order.  Suspect was taken into custody and transported to the county jail.

Charge(s): Possession of a controlled substance

On 1/7/2020, Deputy responded to the above location in regards to an inmate found with heroin and suboxone in his possession. During the investigation it was learned that a jail investigator observed a male reaching for his foot while exiting a cell. The male was searched and was found to have a plastic ball that contained heroin and suboxone. The inmate was re-booked on the above charges.

Suspect: Ricardo Chavez     39 yoa, Santa Fe, NM

Items Stolen: Leaf Blower

Deputies responded to above location in reference to assist Pojoaque Tribal Police,  Pojoaque officers were patrolling the area and observed a male subject walking on the street with a leaf blower.  The above subject stated he borrowed the leaf blower from a cousin.  During the investigation, subject concealed his identity and resisted arrested.  The owner of the leaf blower did not want to pursue charges.  The subject was arrested and charged with concealing identity and resisting arrest (2 counts).

A victim reported to a deputy, sometime between 8:00pm on January 5th and 2:00pm on January 6th, 2020, unknown person stole the listed bicycle from the victims property.
