On Sunday May 5, 2019 deputies were dispatched to I-25 and the La Cienega exit, in regards to a reckless driver.  A White Chevy Pickup was observed unable to maintain its lane of travel. I conducted a traffic stop and upon making contact, I smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from within the vehicle. Driver had bloodshot watery eyes and slurred speech. Driver admitted to consuming alcohol. I administered SFST’s and observed Impairment. Driver's BrAC test results were 0.09, 0.09. Suspect was also served a bench warrant for driver to be licensed. The driver was arrested and booked at ADC.

Case #0219007478 Auto Burglary 05-05-19

Location: Tesuque Casino 

Victim reported that between 0130 & 0430 hours an unknown person gained entry into her vehicle and stole her purse which had US currency and credit cards inside. Case is under investigation.

The above listed person was located after being stopped for a traffic violation. She was found to have an active warrant out of the Santa Fe Municipal Court. She was arrested and booked without incident.

Arrested: Daniel Perez 22 yoa male (Santa Fe)

The above person was located and found to have an active warrant out of the Santa Fe Magistrate Court for failing to comply with probation in reference to a criminal damage to household member property charge. He was booked.

Victim: 61 Year Old Male

Victim was on hospice, and did not feel well. Victim passed away. No foul play was observed. OMI took over the incident.

0219007444-Driving while license revoked- Driving on roadways laned for traffic-Display of registartion plate-05/04/19

On above listed date, a traffic stop was conducted. Driver of vehicle was driving on an Invalid-Revoked license with the 66-8-122G arrest clause attached.Vehicle being driven was displaying a license plate to another vehicle.Driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center on above charges.

Stolen: Cell Phone

Deputies responded to location in reference to a stolen cell phone.  Investigation revealed victim left cell phone in the store and an unknown suspect stole the phone.  Case is under investigation.

Arrested : Jeremiah Gonzales 26 yoa male (Santa Fe) 3 warrants

Arrested: Nikita Uribe 28 yoa female (Santa Fe) 4 warrants

The above persons were located in the area at about 0300 hours. Ms. Uribe was recognized as a person with a recently issued warrant. She was found to have 4 active warrants. The male with her was identified and found to have 3 active warrants for her arrest. They were both arrested and booked without incident.

Arrested: Amanda Gurule 32 yoa female (Santa Fe) 

The above person was a passenger in a vehicle and recognized as a wanted person. She had 1 warrant issued out of the District Court for failure to comply. She had 2 warrants issued out of the Santa Fe County Magistrate Court for failing to appear. All warrants were for original offenses involving domestic violence. She was booked at SFADC.

subject was identified as a wanted person on a traffic stop. He was found to have an active warrant for his arrest issued by the Santa Fe Municipal Court. He was arrested and booked without further incident.
